Training Group Overview
At Foxjets, we provide a clear, structured progression designed to take swimmers from their first competitive strokes to elite-level performance. Every group is rooted in our core values: Ambition, Attitude, Family, and Integrity.
Red Group
Building the foundation
Overview: Introduction to competitive structure and basic stroke proficiency.
Ages: 7 & Under.
Skills Required: Proficient in 3 competitive strokes
Commitment: 1–3 practices per week; all Bronze-level meets recommended.
Equipment: Fins (provided); Mesh bag (not provided).

White Group
Building the foundation
Overview: Designed for older beginners to master freestyle and backstroke.
Ages: 8–13.
Skills Required: Freestyle and backstroke capability for 25 yards; prone position/forward momentum when breathing.
Commitment: 1–3 practices per week; all Bronze-level meets recommended.
Equipment: Fins (provided); Mesh bag (not provided).

Blue Group
Introducing the 4 strokes
Overview: Refinement of all four strokes plus competitive starts and turns.
Ages: 8 & Under
Skills Required: Proficient in 3 competitive strokes; able to swim 25 yards of legal butterfly, backstroke, and freestyle.
Commitment: 1–3 practices per week; all Bronze-level meets recommended.
Equipment: Fins (provided); Mesh bag (not provided).

Age Group 3
Introducing the 4 strokes
Overview: Strengthening technique across all four strokes and building endurance.
Ages: 9–13
Skills Required: Proficient in 3 competitive strokes.
Commitment: 3 practices per week.

Age Group 2
Focusing on goal-driven commitment
Overview: Training includes 100-yard intervals and mastery of all four strokes.
Ages: 9–13
Skills Required: Proficiency in all 4 strokes; at least two 8&U Gold times; ability to swim 100 Free @ 2:30 interval.
Commitment: 3 practices per week; Silver and Gold level meets.
Equipment: Fins (provided); Mesh bag (not provided).

Age Group 1
Advanced technical training
Overview: Focus on advanced stroke proficiency and consistent attendance.
Ages: 11–13
Skills Required: Achievement of two 9-10 Gold times or equivalent.
Commitment: 4 practices per week.
Equipment: Fins (provided), kickboard (provided), snorkel (provided), and pull buoy (provided), Mesh bag (not provided)

Junior 3
Advanced technical training for young athletes
Overview: Includes the introduction of dryland training.
Ages: 10 & Under
Skills Required: Two 8&U or 9-10 Gold times.
Commitment: 3–4 practices per week + dryland.
Equipment: Fins (provided), kickboard (provided), snorkel (provided), and pull buoy (provided), Mesh bag (not provided)

Junior 2
Championship-level preparation
Overview: Focus on advanced interval training and race strategy.
Ages: 11–14
Skills Required: Two 11-12 Gold times
Commitment: 4 practices per week + dryland.

Junior 1
High-performance age group training
Overview: Preparation for Senior-level expectations and increased yardage.
Ages: 11–14
Skills Required: Two 11-12 CH or 13-14 Gold times
Commitment: 4–5 practices per week + dryland.
Equipment: Full set provided (see Junior 2); mesh bag required.

Senior 2
Technique-focused Senior swimming
Overview: Designed for athletes with prior experience focusing on skill and fitness.
Ages: 14+.
Skills Required: Prior competitive experience and proficiency in all 4 strokes.
Commitment: 3–4 practices per week + dryland.
Equipment: Full set provided.

Senior 1
High-performance Senior training
Overview: Strict attendance standards and a focus on Gold-level competition.
Ages: 14+.
Skills Required: Two 13-14 Gold times or equivalent.

National
Elite preparation and competition
Overview: Our premier group for Sectional and Championship qualifiers. Requires total commitment to the sport and the team.
Ages: 14+.
Skills Required: Multiple Sectional or Championship-level qualifying times.
Commitment: 5+ practices per week + specialized strength & conditioning.
Equipment: Full set provided.
